If you are invited to the wedding, you are invited to our welcome party on Friday too! Once invitations have been received, RSVPing will help you confirm plus ones or any others included in your party.

Built in 1903, Station 3 was one of Houston's original fire stations. It is one of the city's historical landmarks and now serves as an event/wedding venue close to downtown. It also happens to be only a few blocks away from our house! Station 3 has three distinct spaces: the building has two floors and there is an outdoor courtyard. The wedding ceremony will take place indoors on the first floor; cocktail hour will take place outdoors in the courtyard; dinner will take place on the second floor; and dancing will be back on the first floor. There is an elevator/lift, as well as stairs.

Guests should begin arriving at 5pm to ensure they have enough time to settle in. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm with everyone expected in their seats already.

Station 3 has a free parking lot right next to the venue! If you are planning to drive and park, it might be easiest to use this address as reference for the parking lot:

Benny Thunders is a Heights neighborhood taproom, offering self-pour beer, wine, and mead. They have indoor space, a covered patio, and an uncovered lawn area. We have rented out the venue for our welcome party, so we will have full access to the indoor and outdoor areas.

The welcome party will include food and non-alcoholic beverages for our guests. Benny Thunders staff will be available to help guests open a tab and start pouring their own drinks if interested in their beer, wine, and mead selections. We love the idea of a relaxed evening for us to see everyone before the big day!

It will begin right at 6pm with food arriving at the beginning of the party. We have the venue rented until 9pm and we are going to use all the time we can to spend time with you!

We highly encourage our guests to rideshare or walk from the hotel block (if staying there) since Benny Thunders is right in the middle of a neighborhood. Parking will be very limited! If needing to park nonetheless, it will likely need to be street parking. Please be extra careful of no parking signs and do not plan to park in another place of business.
